Publika & cinemaOS · Momentum Studios
Delete your Publika account.
Publika uses your shared Momentum account. Requesting its deletion also removes your cinemaOS account access.
How to request deletion
- Open the Account Portal using the button above and sign in to your Momentum account.
- Read the shared Publika and cinemaOS account notice, tick the confirmation and type DELETE.
- Press Request account deletion. Opening the page alone does not submit a request.
The current process is scheduled for 30 days after your request. You can choose Keep my account in the Portal before removal. A scheduled request does not mean your account or data has already been removed; the Portal shows the request status.
Before you continue
- Cancel any active subscription in Billing first. Requesting deletion does not cancel billing immediately. Any remaining cinemaOS access ends when your account is removed.
- If you own a team with other members, transfer ownership or archive the team first.
- You can download your account data before requesting deletion. Your local cinemaOS projects stay on your device; keep or export local work you want to retain.
What is removed and what may be retained
New requests made through this Portal use the full-data deletion choice. When processed, this removes your shared account access and associated Publika data: profile, posts and replies, stills and clips, follows, credits, hearts, reshares, votes, saved items, messages, shared chat files, voice notes and private diagnostics, subject to necessary retention exceptions.
Any already scheduled request keeps its original data choice, shown in the Portal, including on retries. To change that choice, choose Keep my account before making a new request.
Billing and tax records follow legal retention duties. Records needed for law, security, moderation or a dispute may be retained for their necessary purpose and then pruned or redacted. A separate sealed direct-message or consented View once report snapshot, including available shared files, has a 365-day expiry and is retained independently of account deletion. Until removal, your username stays yours. When removal happens, your usernames are released straight away: anyone can then take them, and no reservation or account identifier is kept for them. If you only change your username, the old one stays reserved for you for 5 days.
The Publika privacy notice explains the separate 186-day review window for moderator-removed private messages, pending appeals and service-provider retention. Account erasure can make restoration unavailable. Read it with the cinemaOS Privacy Notice for shared-account, billing and retention details.
If you cannot access the Account Portal, email privacy@mntm-studios.com to request help with shared-account deletion. We may need to verify that the account is yours.
